Millennium After the Millennium

In 1996 Chris Carter followed up THE X-FILES with the darker, arguably more sophisticated series MILLENNIUM, a gothic horror show that pit actor Lance Henriksen against a thousand points of darkness. The series ended abruptly in 1999, but the darkness remains. Fans yearning for Frank Black’s heroic return can revisit past nightmares and see glimpses of a hopeful future in the new feature-length documentary, MILLENNIUM AFTER THE MILLENNIUM.

Nat Turner: A Troublesome Property

In 1831, Nat Turner led a slave rebellion in the United States that resulted in the murder of local slave owners and their families, the eventual execution of 55 rebels and the retribution lynching of more than 200 innocent slaves. Nat Turner: A Troublesome Property examines how the story of Turner’s revolt has been interpreted throughout history and how it continues to raise new questions about the nature of terrorism and other forms of violent resistance to oppression. The film adopts an innovative structure by interspersing documentary footage and interviews with dramatizations of these different versions of Turner’s story. A unique collaboration between MacArthur Genius Award feature director Charles Burnett, acclaimed historian of slavery Kenneth S. Greenberg and Academy Award-nominated documentary producer Frank Christopher, Nat Turner is a compelling look at one of history’s most mysterious figures.

Biography

Megan Gallagher (born February 6, 1960) is an American theater and television actress. She wanted to act from the time she was five years old. She later took drama lessons when she was in high school. She moved to New York to attend the Juilliard and appeared in the Broadway cast of "A Few Good Men" where she won two theater awards (Theatre World and Outer Critics Circle Award for outstanding debut) for her Broadway performance in "A Few Good Men". After graduating from Juilliard with a bachelor's degree, she began to work with John Houseman's Acting Company and soon had screen roles in TV movies and miniseries, but was so discouraged trying to make it in L.A. that she nearly gave up to go to law school. Then she won the Hill Street Blues (1981) role, which developed from a guest star to a regular role. The rest is history.
